Copy the key straight from your email rather than typing it. Keys use capital letters only, and there should be no space at the start or end.

Each key is locked to one PC. If you've changed computer or reinstalled Windows, ask for a reset on Discord and include your key.

Your subscription has ended or a payment didn't go through. Check your email for a receipt or payment failure. Once a payment succeeds, your key works again within a few minutes.

A newer version is out. Download it from the download page and install it over the top. Your settings are kept.

Speakeasy needs the internet when it starts. Check your connection, and if you use a firewall, allow Speakeasy through it.

The most common cause is display scaling. Right-click the desktop, choose Display settings and set Scale to 100%, then recalibrate. Moving or resizing the game window can also do it, so keep it where it was when you calibrated.

Either the game has updated its screens, or something about your display changed (a new monitor, resolution or scaling). Run Test everything. If most sections fail, check Discord for news of a game update. If only one or two fail, recalibrate those.

The text reader didn't install properly. Uninstall Speakeasy, download a fresh copy of the installer and install it again. If it still fails, send us the log file.

Put the game on your main monitor, the one with the taskbar. Calibrate with it there and keep it there.

Ultrawides are supported, but run the game in a window sized like a normal screen if calibration keeps missing things. Black bars at the sides are fine.

That's expected. Speakeasy uses your mouse and needs to see the game, so anything that covers the game window or moves the mouse will interrupt it. Run it when you're away from the PC.

Speakeasy waits until stamina and health reach the level set in the control panel before fighting. If that level is very high, it may rarely get there. Try 50% to start with.

Close Speakeasy completely and start it again. If you changed a setting file by hand, undo the change. The panel only starts if Speakeasy itself starts cleanly.

Click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new programs that haven't been code-signed yet.

Restore it from quarantine and add an exception for the Speakeasy folder. Programs that move the mouse sometimes get flagged. Only download Speakeasy from this site.
